ORLANDO, Florida — Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) has officially signed on to be the title sponsor of the Race 2 Cure. The FBCF Race 2 Cure is a 5k and Tribute Walk held to raise funds for cancer, and offers several options for the 3rd annual event. Participants can run or walk the 5k in-person on race day or run on their own time virtually! The race also offers a Tribute Walk presented by the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation to honor those who have passed and currently fighting cancer. The 2021 Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Race 2 Cure in-person event is being held on September 26th at Fort Mellon Park in Sanford.
The FBCF Race 2 Cure raises funds for cancer research and through events like this the Orlando Sports Foundation has raised 3.8 million dollars.
