Owens Corning® March 2 Cure

The Owens Corning® March 2 Cure is an inspiring community event held alongside the Cure Bowl. This annual parade honors the bravery and strength of cancer survivors, bringing together fans, survivors, and the community in a vibrant display of unity. The event features marching bands, mascots, and community leaders, all dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cancer research.

The game showcases thrilling athletic competition and serves as a beacon of hope. Proceeds benefit local cancer research initiatives. Whether you’re cheering from the stands, watching from home, or sponsoring the event, your participation significantly impacts the community.

CURE ALL-STARS

Presented by Orlando Health

The Cure All-Stars Events celebrate high school athletes who are recognized by their coaches for their exceptional skills and academic achievements. The Orlando Sports Foundation hosts these Cure All-Stars Events to involve young athletes in the mission of uniting teams to combat cancer. These athletes contribute to a greater cause by participating in their respective sports. There are currently 11 Cure All-Star events covering 7 sports across Central Florida including, Football, Boys & Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Girls Flag Football, Boys & Girls Volleyball, and Golf. The Orlando Sports Foundation also hosts the Greater Orlando Recruiting Fair, one of the largest high school football recruiting fairs in the nation.

Owens Corning® Cure Cup

The Cure Cup is an exclusive, sponsor-only golf tournament held annually at top private clubs in Central Florida, such as Lake Nona and Isleworth Golf & Country Clubs. This prestigious event offers a unique opportunity for participants to enjoy a day of golf while contributing to life-saving cancer research. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the UCF College of Medicine and its Lake Nona Cancer Center, advancing the fight against cancer.

Cure Bowl Scout School

Summer Tailgate Party

The Cure Bowl Summer Tailgate Party & Scout School is a preseason kickoff event that brings fans together for food, drinks, tailgate games, and football fellowship. Guests can also learn about the Cure Bowl Scout School program, which prepares volunteers to participate in the Cure Bbowl’s unique scouting program and experience behind-the-scenes access at partner conferences throughout the football season.

Kickoff to Cure HOF Luncheon

The Kickoff to Cure Hall Of Fame Luncheon is an exclusive, sponsor-only Luncheon held annually at Country Club of Orlando. This event features the inductions to the Cure Bowl Hall of Fame, and will have an All-Star Panel hosted by UCF’s radio voice Marc Daniels. Joining us on the panel will be Charles Davis (CBS College Football lead color analyst), Paul Kennedy (FanDuel Network Tampa Bay Lightning Broadcaster), and Nancy Alvarez (WESH2 Anchor and our 2026 Cancer Survivor Ambassador). There will also be an exclusive silent and live auction taking place.

Designer Bag Bingo

Presented by Megan Dowdy Realty

Designer Bag Bingo is a charity bingo event benefiting the Orlando Sports Foundation and cancer research. Participants play multiple rounds of bingo for the chance to win beautiful designer handbags while enjoying an exciting evening of games, prizes, and community support. Every ticket purchased helps fund the Foundation’s mission to advance cancer research. The event will have complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and wine (courtesy of Lakeridge Winery).

Florida Breast Cancer Foundation

Race 2 Cure 5K

The Race 2 Cure is a signature event of the Orlando Sports Foundation, dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. Held annually at the Oviedo Mall, this event includes a 5K run/walk, a Tribute Walk, and opportunities for virtual participation. It brings together survivors, supporters, and the community to celebrate resilience and honor those affected by cancer. Participants can run, walk, volunteer, or simply cheer on others.

Strike Out Cancer

The Annual Strike Out Cancer bowling event brings the community together for a day of friendly competition, where participants bowl to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. It’s more than just a game; it’s an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause. Participants can enjoy bowling, indulge in a pizza lunch, and participate in a silent auction. All proceeds go toward supporting vital cancer research and patient support initiatives.

FFVA Mutual

FFVA Mutual Golf Invitational

The FFVA Mutual Golf Invitational is a charity golf tournament that gathers golfers, sponsors, and community members for a day of fun and philanthropy.
