Alan Gooch
Executive Director
Alan has been with Orlando Sports Foundation since the beginning in 2007 and helped bring OSF to life. As a UCF alumni and former UCF Football coach, sports and football are near and dear to him. He has found a way to incorporate what he loves, sports, and also help others by raising awareness and funds for cancer research.
Matt Stover
Associate Director
An Orlando native and University of Central Florida alum, Matt joined the Orlando Sports Foundation staff in 2015 and oversees the Cure Bowl’s day-to-day ticket sales and operations. Before joining the Orlando Sports Foundation staff, he worked for the UCF Athletics Association in various roles.
Kelly Walston
Controller/Business Operations/ HR
Kelly joined the team in May 2017 and manages accounting and certain HR functions. She is a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University and an MBA from Central Florida. Although she has experience working with some of the largest companies in Central Florida, including CNL and HD Supply, as a Controller, she has found a new passion for working for non-profits. Kelly lives with her husband, Jack, son, Jack III, and daughter, Maddie.
Joe Hierholzer
Director of Internal Operations
Joe is a passionate sports professional dedicated to fan engagement and community impact. From 2017 to 2021, Joe brought energy and excitement to the University of Central Florida as Knightro, the UCF mascot. This unique role sparked his enthusiasm for using sports as a platform to bring people together and make a difference.
Joe earned his MBA and Master’s in Sport Business Management from UCF’s DeVos Sport Business Management Program, where he honed his skills in event planning, leadership, and organizational strategy. Since 2018, Joe has proudly served as the Cure Bowl mascot, CB, and now plays a pivotal role on the team, overseeing volunteer coordination, mascot operations, and the execution of impactful events.
Madison Mehringer
Director of External Operations
Madison joined the Orlando Sports Foundation in August 2024. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, she was a four-year member of UCF’s 2024 National Championship Cheerleading Team. As Director of External Operations, Madison oversees all communications, marketing, community engagement, and external initiatives for the foundation and the Cure Bowl. She brings a strong passion for creative storytelling, fan engagement, meaningful customer connections, and innovative event experiences.
Jaren Foster
Sales Associate
Jaren is a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, where he earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. During his collegiate career, he was a five-year member of the university’s football program, served as a three-year team captain, earned multiple All-Conference honors, and was recognized as an Academic All-American.
Jaren is passionate about building meaningful relationships and believes in the unique ability of sports to unite people in support of a greater cause. He is proud to help connect the community through sports while supporting the Orlando Sports Foundation’s mission to fund lifesaving cancer research.
