The Owens Corning Cure Cup is more than a golf tournament — it’s a day where athletes, business leaders, community members, and cancer survivors come together to drive real progress in the fight against cancer. This annual charity event benefits cancer research at the UCF College of Medicine Cancer Research Center, turning every swing into support for lifesaving work.
The most recent Cure Cup took place on March 24, 2025, marking the event’s 10th anniversary. The next tournament will return in 2026, continuing the tradition of camaraderie, competition, and community impact.

10th Annual – Recap
The Orlando Sports Foundation proudly hosted the 10th Annual Owens Corning Cure Cup at the prestigious Isleworth Golf & Country Club. The tournament was a sell-out, with 32 foursomes taking to the course after an early morning check-in and buffet breakfast.
Before tee-off, golfers heard inspiring words from Mayor Jerry Demings, WKMG Sports Anchor Jamie Seh, and Dr. Annette Khaled of UCF’s College of Medicine. The course was packed with challenges like Beat the Pro, Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, raffle prizes, and even a Million-Dollar Shot contest. Winners took home prizes including a Scales golf bag, a foursome at Isleworth, and a Bettinardi putter — with the champion foursome of Ted Coltrain, Mike Dickinson, Patrick McRae, and John McRae earning the signature pink Cure Cup jackets. Special guests included Jenny Dell, Will Middlebrooks, Daunte Culpepper, Terry Mohajir, Scott Frost, and more. Every dollar raised supported cancer research at the UCF College of Medicine Cancer Research Center.
